Temperature Ranges - show details

Every CR6 is tested and guaranteed to perform within published specifications over the standard temperature range. Units are tested and shipped to the standard temperature range unless an extended range is specified. Any internal batteries are not tested or guaranteed across the entire standard temperature range.
-XT -XT -55 to +85C
When ordered, the CR6 is tested and guaranteed to perform over the extended temperature range. The extended testing covers the -55° to +85°C range. Any internal batteries or wireless communication modules are not tested or guaranteed across the entire extended temperature range.
Warranty Lengths - show details

At the time of purchase, the CR6 includes a standard warranty of 36 months. See our full warranty policy in the CR6 manual for the terms and conditions of this warranty.
-XW -XW 4yr Warr Extension
Our Extended Warranty adds 48 months to the standard 36 month warranty, bringing the total warranty period to 84 months. The extended warranty may be purchased only at the time of original product purchase. It may NOT be "added later." Except for the increased coverage length, the same terms and conditions apply to the extended warranty as apply to the standard warranty.

CR1000KD
 
The CR1000KD is a portable keyboard display for viewing and entering datalogger data. One CR1000KD may be carried from station to station in a CR6 network. Users can customize menus and displays, simplifying routine operations.
CD100
 
The CD100 can be mounted in an enclosure lid allowing the user to enter and view data without opening the enclosure. It has a vacuum flourescent display for responsive use through a very wide operating temperature range. Users can customize menus and displays, simplifying routine operations
SC110
 
The SC110 consists of two cables, each 0.6 m (2 ft) in length. One cable consists of a 9-pin male connector on one end with stripped and tinned leads on the other for connection to CR6 Control Ports. The other cable is identical except that a 9-pin female connector replaces the male connector. By having two cables, connection of either an RS-232 DCE or DTE device is supported, depending on the cable used.

-EM -EM Extended Mounting Kit
Extended Mounting Kit allows the solar panel to be mounted on a tower or crossarm that puts the panel approximately 25.4 cm (10 in.) from the mast. This reduces shadows on the solar panel from other components or guy wires, which negatively affects the performance of the solar panel. It does, however, increase the wind load on the system.

The BP12 is a rechargeable, 12 Vdc, 12 A h battery pack that can power a Campbell Scientific system that has components that have above-average power requirements, such as satellite transmitters.

The BP24 is a rechargeable 12 Vdc, 24 Ah battery pack that can power a Campbell Scientific system. It is intended for high-current-drain systems, such as satellite transmitters, that require more power.

The COAXRPSMA-L is an LMR195 coaxial cable fitted with a Type N Male connector on one end and a Reverse Polarity SMA (RPSMA) female connector on the other end. This cable is commonly used to connect an antenna with Type N connector to a spread-spectrum radio with an RPSMA connector.

The COAXNTN-L consists of an RG8/U, low-loss coaxial cable fitted with a Type N Male connector on each end. It can support any 50 ohm transmission line application.

Services

 
The 21852 is offered for customers who require calibration validation from an accredited calibration laboratory. It is available for the CR6. When the 21852 is ordered with a new datalogger, Campbell Scientific builds and calibrates the datalogger, and then sends it to Simco Electronics in Salt Lake City, UT for validation. When the 21852 is ordered on a datalogger's RMA (Returned Material Authorization), the Campbell Scientific Repair Department repairs and recalibrates the datalogger, and then sends it to Simco.

The 30408 requires an RMA (Returned Material Authorization) from Campbell Scientific. When ordered, we recalibrate the CR6 to meet original specifications. Recalibration includes standard temperature testing (-40° to +70°C). Before and after calibration sheets are supplied with the CR6.
 
Retesting is available only for individual units that have previously passed Extended Temperature Testing. Retesting also requires concurrent purchase of recalibration. An RMA (Returned Material Authorization) from Campbell Scientific is required.
