Overview
The ENC16/18 is a weather-resistant enclosure that is 16 inches wide and 18 inches tall. It can house a data logger, a power supply, and at least one peripheral. This enclosure is recommended for applications that need to have multiple communication or measurement and control peripherals housed in the same enclosure.
Please note that a grounding wire is not included with the enclosure.

Technical Description
The ENC16/18's backplate is prepunched with half-inch-on-center holes suitable for attaching a data logger, power supply, and a communications or measurement and control peripheral.
This enclosure is shipped with the 7363 enclosure supply kit that consists of desiccant, a humidity indicator card, cable ties, wire tie tabs, putty, grommets, screws, and PVC coupling. Additionally, Campbell Scientific offers a CS210 Enclosure Humidity Sensor for monitoring relative humidity inside of the enclosure. (See Ordering Info on the web page.)

The 10525 is attached to the inside of the lid of a Campbell Scientific enclosure with adhesive Velcro strips (supplied). The holder accommodates two packages of our 4-unit desiccant.

The 31143 is a hinged stack bracket that is designed to fit a CR1000 datalogger, CR6 datalogger, or multiplexter on either the top or underneath. The hinge enables access to the equipment underneath without disconnecting any wires (assuming that the wires are long enough).

The CS211 is a low-power, smart sensor designed to monitor temperature and humidity levels inside enclosures. The sensor features an optical door switch to detect door openings and closings, and a multifunctional button that recognizes short, long, and double presses for user-defined actions. Additionally, the CS211 includes an LED indicator to signal enclosure wetness and when desiccant needs to be replaced.

Replacement Enclosure Humidity Indicator Card
The 28878 is a replacement humidity indicator card. It provides a visual reference of humidity level inside the enclosure. Colored circles change color from blue to pink to indicate humidity levels of 30%, 40%, and 50% relative humidity. Double sticky tape on the back of the card allows it to be easily secured to an enclosure lid.

Universal Backplate for ENC16/18
This anodized aluminum backplate is completely pre-punched with a matrix of half-inch-on-center holes. It is available as a replacement part for an existing ENC16/18 enclosure.

Enclosure Filter with 60 Micron Pore Size
One 6832 filter may be installed in one of the small compression fittings (cable entry seals) in the enclosure to allow air pressure to equalize between the inside and outside of the enclosure. As such, the filter is used only when the cable entry seals option is selected for the enclosure (item 6447). The filter is typically used when a barometric pressure sensor (or, in some cases, the cable termination of a vented submersible pressure transducer) will be located inside the enclosure. The filter has a 60 micron pore size.

The 27329 allows the ENC16/18 enclosure to be attached to the leg base of a CM106 tripod. This bracket is the same as the "-LM" option for the ENC16/18 enclosure. It may be ordered as a replacement part if the bracket gets damaged or if another option was originally chosen.
