Overview
The ENC16/18UL is a weather-resistant enclosure that is 16 inches wide and 18 inches tall. It is UL508A listed, with a UL listed NEMA 4X rated enclosure and components. The ENC16/18UL can house a data logger, a power supply, and at least one peripheral. This enclosure is recommended for applications that need to have multiple communication or measurement and control peripherals housed in the same enclosure.
To maintain its NEMA 4X rating, the ENC16/18UL does not come with a standard Campbell Scientific ground lug. Users must bring a ground wire inside the enclosure through a conduit or cable entry seal and then ground it to a ground bar, DIN-rail mounting bracket, or something similar.
Please note that a grounding wire is not included with the enclosure.

Technical Description
The backplate of the ENC16/18UL is prepunched with half-inch-on-center holes suitable for attaching a data logger, power supply, and a communications or measurement and control peripheral.
This enclosure is shipped with the 7363 enclosure supply kit that consists of desiccant, a humidity indicator card, cable ties, wire tie tabs, putty, grommets, screws, and PVC coupling. Additionally, Campbell Scientific offers a CS210 Enclosure Humidity Sensor for monitoring relative humidity inside of the enclosure. (See Ordering Info on the web page.)

The 31143 is one possible stacked mounting kit option. The 31143 is a hinged stack bracket that is designed to fit a CR1000 datalogger, CR6 datalogger, or multiplexter on either the top or underneath. The hinge enables access to the equipment underneath without disconnecting any wires (assuming that the wires are long enough).

The 40294 is a horizontal, grid-mount strain-relief bracket to help you relieve strain and manage wires or cables inside your enclosure. You can use the bracket at the point where cables or wires enter the enclosure, or you can use it anywhere within the enclosure to organize your wires or cables. Use the included cable ties to tie your cables and wires to the hook points on the bracket.

Replacement Enclosure Humidity Indicator Card
The 28878 is a replacement humidity indicator card. It provides a visual reference of humidity level inside the enclosure. Colored circles change color from blue to pink to indicate humidity levels of 30%, 40%, and 50% relative humidity. Double sticky tape on the back of the card allows it to be easily secured to an enclosure lid.
