Overview
The AL200 is an ALERT2 encoder and modulator that supports ALERT2 and ALERT-concentration services. It meets the ALERT2 standards maintained by National Hydrologic Warning Council (NHWC) and ALERT Users Group (AUG). ALERT2 improves the accuracy and performance of flood warning systems and software, by providing you with faster data transfer, forward error correction, and a TDMA architecture.
With integrated sensor inputs, the AL200 allows you to create a minimal ALERT2 transmitter/station, decreasing the cost of a typical flood warning system. Combining the AL200 with a Campbell Scientific data logger provides enhanced sensor support, user-defined logic and control, and data logging capabilities.
Key Advantages
Improved accuracy and performance for flood warning systems

Common Accessories
(9)17992
28 dBi 3.3 V active GPS Antenna without Cable
One 17992 is needed per AL200. This active GPS antenna provides 28 dBi of preamp for weak signal or long cable run applications. It also provides filtering to improve immunity to other RF signals, making it highly jam resistant. Its weatherproof package is designed to withstand exposure to shock, vibration, extreme temperatures, rain, snow, and sun.
Orderable31326
Surge Protection Kit, GPS Antenna Type N to SMA
For use with the 17992. The 31326 is a GPS RF surge protection kit with flange mounting bracket. It may be flange-mounted to an enclosure backplate or bulkhead-mounted through an enclosure wall. One side of the surge protector connects to a GPS receiver with an SMA antenna connection. The other side connects to the GPS antenna/antenna coaxial cable with Type N connector. The surge protector passes up to ±6 Vdc, commonly needed for active GPS antenna applications.
Orderable31182
27 dBi GPS Antenna with 3 V Magnetic Mount and SMA Connector
The 31182 is a magnetic mount GPS patch antenna. It is typically used where GPS reception is readily available and concern is low for snow buildup completely covering the antenna. The 31182 is also commonly used in cost-sensitive applications or applications that require a small-sized, low-profile antenna. This antenna connects to a GPS receiver with SMA connector. The antenna package is waterproof and corrosion resistant.
Orderable45005
GPS Antenna Cable
One 45005 is needed per GPS antenna. The 45005 is an LMR-195 low-loss coaxial cable fitted with a TNC (plug) connector on one end and an SMA (plug) connector on the other end.
Orderable30626
