A calibration procedure that can be performed by the user is described in the manual. If factory calibration is desired, the rain gage is calibrated in a procedure similar to that described in the manual (summing the recorded tips expected given a known volume of liquid passing through the gage and then adjusting the calibration based on the result). Calibration requires an RMA (Return Material Authorization).
