The 15842 is available only for CR10 dataloggers that have previously passed Extended Temperature Testing. Retesting requires concurrent purchase of the 16540 Recalibration and an RMA (Returned Material Authorization) from Campbell Scientific.

As individual components age, their ability to perform within specifications at temperature extremes diminishes. Therefore, Campbell Scientific can not guarantee that individual units which may have previously passed Extended Temperature Testing will be capable of doing so at a later date.
We will take reasonable measures to bring the data logger into specification, but if many components are thermally compromised, the unit may not pass. The Extended Temperature Testing fee(s) will be applied whether or not the unit passes.
