Detailed Description
The 10437 PROM allows the CR7 to be compatible with the SDM-INT8, SDM-SW8A, SDM-AO4 and the SDM-CD16AC. It is the OS7-0:2 default option.
PROMs can be installed by the customer or at our factory; if factory-installed, an RMA (Return Material Authorization) is required. List prices is for the PROM only. Please note that several units may be sent in on one RMA number. An additional service charge (one hour minimum) will be applied to each RMA.
Campbell Scientific strongly recommends that units sent to the factory go through a standard checkout. In most cases, Data Logger Recalibration and Extended Temperature Testing should also be considered.
Data loggers can be sent to our factory for installation of a PROM upgrade.
Standard checkout of the unit following a PROM upgrade is strongly recommended; this process includes the technician confirming operation of the data logger's Operating System and I/O channels by several methods and over the standard operating temperature range. Hourly charges apply.
