COAXNTN-L Antenna Cable RG8 w/2 Type N Male Connectors
 
The COAXNTN-L is a low-loss RG8 coaxial cable that requires the 31317 surge protection kit to connect it to the RavenXTG. The COAXNTN-L/31317 combination is recommended over the COAXSMA or 21847 when the RavenXTG is used in an environment susceptible to lightning or electrostatic buildup, or when the antenna cable must be longer than 20 feet. Please note that cable lengths longer than 20 feet should be avoided because the signal strength will be weakened.

The 14394 Mounting Kit includes hardware for securing the RavenXTG to an enclosure backplate.

The 31128 is a wideband Yagi directional antenna. It is uniquely suited for cellular applications because of its ability to provide gain across all of the cellular frequency bands. The antenna has a Type N female connector and includes the mounting hardware.
18663
 
The 18663 is one of three choices for connecting the modem with the datalogger. This null modem cable attaches directly to the datalogger's RS-232 port. It is the only choice available for using a RavenXTG modem with a CR200-series datalogger.
SC932A
 
The SC932A is one of three choices for attaching the modem to the datalogger. This interface connects the RavenXTG with the datalogger's CS I/O port. The SC932A is recommended for mixed-array dataloggers.
SC105

The SC105 is one of three choices for attaching the modem to the datalogger. This interface connects the RavenXTG with the datalogger's CS I/O port. The SC105 is recommended for PakBus dataloggers.
Temperature Ranges - show details
-ST -ST -25 to +50C
Standard Temperature Testing range is -25° to +50°C. Individual units are warranted to perform within published specifications over this range, which is included with product purchase.
-XT -XT -55 to +85C
Extended Temperature Testing over the -55° to +85°C range is also available. Individual units are subjected to performance tests at these extremes in a test chamber. Units that pass the tests are certified as extended temperature units.

Please note that manual operation of the "Program" button in SC105s may be compromised at extended low temperatures (-25° to -55°C). The program button is used only when configuration settings are being manually downloaded to the device from a computer.
20679
 
A choice of four antennas is offered for the RavenXTG. The 20679 is recommended for locations where cellular coverage is strong. This dual-band omnidirectional antenna covers both the 800-MHz and the 1.9-GHz bands. For the 800-MHz band, the 20679 provides a 0-dBd gain. For the 1.9-GHz band, the 20679 provides a 3-dBd gain. Connection to the RavenXTG requires an antenna cable (refer to the 21847, COAXSMA-L, or COAXNTN-L listed below).
21847
 
Either this cable or the COAXSMA-L (see below) is typically used with the 18285, 20679, or 10530 antennas. The 21847 has a 12-foot length. It consists of an LMR195 coaxial cable that terminates in a type N male connector on the "antenna end" and an SMA connector on the "transceiver end." If surge suppression is required, use the COAXNTN-L cable and 31317 Surge Protection Kit instead of this cable (see Other Accessories).
COAXSMA-L
 
COAXSMA-L Antenna Cable LMR195 w/SMA & Type N Male Connector
 
Either this cable or the 21847 (see above) is typically used with the 18285, 20679, or 10530 antennas. The COAXSMA-L is offered for customers who want a user-specified lead length; a maximum length of 20 ft (6 m) is recommended. The COAXSMA consists of an LMR195 coaxial cable that terminates in a type N male connector on the "antenna end" and an SMA connector on the "transceiver end." If surge suppression or lengths longer than 20 feet are required, use the COAXNTN-L cable and 31317 Surge Protectionr Kit instead of this cable (see Other Accessories).

The CM230 Adjustable Inclination Mount allows the Yagi antenna to be aimed at the service provider's antenna. It attaches to a mast or pipe with a 1.3" to 2.1" OD.
CM230XL
 
The CM230XL provides the same functionality as the CM230, but the CM230XL places the antenna further from the pole or crossarm.

This 10 ft (3.1 m) roll of 1"-wide black self-vulcanizing tape can help protect the connection of outdoor antennas. After connecting the coaxial cable to the antenna, wrap the tape around the connectors that are exposed to the environment.
31315
 
Commonly used with cellular devices, the 31315 is an RF surge protection kit that is installed by Campbell Scientific, bulkhead-mounted through the enclosure wall. One side of the surge protector connects to a radio with an SMA antenna connection. The other side connects to an antenna/antenna coaxial cable with Type N connector.
31317
 
The 31317 is an RF surge protection kit with flange mounting bracket. It may be flange-mounted to an enclosure backplate or bulkhead-mounted through an enclosure wall. One side of the surge protector connects to a radio with an SMA antenna connection. The other side connects to an antenna/antenna coaxial cable with Type N connector.
