One mounting kit is needed per sensor. This mount includes a 17386 Mounting Tube, a right-angle bracket, two U-bolts, and four nuts.

The 34344 is a mounting kit for the MetSENS series of compact weather sensors. The kit can be installed on a vertical pipe or mast, or on a horizontal crossarm less than 6.35 cm (2.5 in.) in diameter. The kit includes a mounting stand and three pan truss screws, which are used to attach the following: the MetSENS sensor; two 5/16 x 3.0 in. carriage screws; and two sets of wing nuts, washers, and lock washers.

Other Accessories

The 31897 can be plugged into the RJ45 RS-232 port on a CR6 or CR1000X datalogger to connect the datalogger to an RS-232 sensor.

The 33815 makes it easier for you to connect wires from multiple SDI-12 sensors into one set of terminals on a data logger. The 33815 uses six DIN-rail mountable (pn 27479) 6-wire terminal blocks. The 33815 jumpers two connectors together at a time (pn 32918). This setup allows up to 11 SDI-12 sensors to be connected to one set of terminals on a data logger.

Services

Campbell Scientific can change the communications configuration of the sensors or download new OSs to the units. Users cannot do this themselves without a special cable and software, and these items are not available to the end user. To have a unit reconfigured or updated, send the unit to Campbell Scientific via an RMA (Returned Material Authorization).
