Overview
The 36218 is a replacement laser assembly for connection to the existing cables in the SkyVue™8M, SkyVue™8, or SkyVue™PRO ceilometer. The laser assembly contains a Class 3B laser that is aligned upon installation on the base of the optical assembly of the ceilometer.

Warning: Safety precautions must be followed as advised by Campbell Scientific. Removing the laser module with the power applied to the ceilometer may expose the user to hazardous Class 3B laser radiation. No attempt should be made to operate the laser outside the housing. After the laser assembly is completely installed in the ceilometer, the laser output, through the sensor’s optics, will conform to Class 1M. Instructions from Campbell Scientific are required to replace the laser module.
