Overview
As of June 18, 2003, the SC12R (pn 7952) was rendered obsolete by the redesigned SC12 cable. The redesigned SC12 is a black molded cable that is more rugged and resistant to chemicals than the original ribbon cable. This allows the standard SC12 cable to be used in applications that previously required the more rugged SC12R cable. However, the longer version of the cable, the SC12R-6, will continue to be available, as it has a six foot length.
