Overview
When ordered with the CR9000(X), the 8253 is option -FE. The 8253 may also be ordered to replace a damaged enclosure or to retrofit a CR9000(X) that originally was housed in a 8255 Lab Enclosure. The 8253 CR9000(X) Environmental Enclosure is designed for field applications where the enclosure will be exposed to the elements. A CR9000(X) housed in this enclosure is protected from water, dust, and most environmental pollutants.
