Overview
The 16563 service includes battery replacement, PROM update, and standard temperature testing. The expected battery life @ 25°C is six years. The replacement battery is a lithium thionyl chloride battery (pn 3007).
Warning: This battery can explode forcefully if exposed to excessive heating or to charging current. A user should NOT replace this battery; request an RMA (Returned Material Authorization) from Campbell Scientific.
