The COAXTDR-L consists of a 50 ohm, low-loss, RG8 coaxial cable fitted with BNC male connectors on both ends. It attaches the Level 1 SDM8X50/SDMX50 to the TDR200 reflectometer.

The CS605 has a standard RG58 cable that is suitable for cable lengths up to 15 meters (50 ft). The maximum length is 15 m as measured from the tips of the probe's rods to the TDR100 Reflectometer. Any cable length from the TDR100 to an SDMX50-series multiplexer should be subtracted from the cable length(s) ordered with the probe(s). A similar probe, the CS610, should be used for lengths greater than 15 m; the CS605 and CS610 differ only in their cabling.
