Common Accessories

17200
 
The 17200 connects the internal sealed-rechargeable battery to the 17057. This cable is fitted with slip-on connectors for the battery posts.
6186
 
The 6186 allows an external (typically large capacity) battery to be connected to the PS100. This cable was previously shipped as part of the PS100, but was made a separately ordered accessory effective 14 August 2006.
SP10
 
SP10 10W Solar Panel, 20ft Cable
 
The SP10 solar panel provides a 10 W maximum peak power, 9 W guaranteed minimum power, 0.59 A current at peak, and 16.8 V voltage at peak.

-PT -PT w/Tinned Wires
With the -PT option, the cable terminates in pigtails that connect directly to the datalogger.
-PW -PW w/Pre-Wire Connector
With the -PW option, the cable terminates in a connector that attaches to a pre-wired enclosure.
-C -C w/ ET/CS110 Connector
With the -C option, the cable terminates in a connector that attaches to a CS110 Electric Field Meter or an ET-series weather station. This is equivalent to the -LC version available for some sensors.

-SM -SM Std Mounting Kit
Standard mounting to allow solar panel to be mounted directly to the leg of a tower or crossarm.
-EM -EM Extended Mounting Kit
Extended Mounting Kit allows the solar panel to be mounted on a tower or crossarm that puts the panel approximately 25.4 cm (10 in.) from the mast. This reduces shadows on the solar panel from other components or guy wires, which negatively affects the performance of the solar panel. It does, however, increase the wind load on the system.

A100 Null Modem Adapter for PS1X0/200 or CH1X0/200
 
An A100 9-pin adapter is used with the PS100 to provide a null modem connection. This functionality is required in a station where a datalogger will not be present, such as a phone-to-RF base station.

Please note that one A100 or A105 can be used at a time. Also note that early PS100s were not compatible with the A100; PS100s shipped after 20 January 2004 (serial numbers 1391 and higher) are compatible.

A105 12V Terminal Expansion Adapter for PS1X0/200 or CH1X0/200
 
An A105 adapter is connected to the PS100 to provide four additional 12 V terminals and four additional Ground terminals. The extra terminals may make it easier for the customer to wire multiple continuously powered 12 Vdc devices to the power supply.

Please note that only one A100 or A105 can be used at a time. Also note that early PS100s were not compatible with the A105; PS100s shipped after 20 January 2004 (serial numbers 1391 and higher) are compatible.

On one end, the 15988 has a plug that inserts into an ac wall socket. On the other end, it has pigtails that insert into the charging terminals of a CR200-series datalogger.

Replacement Parts

 
The 9634 is the black wire used to connect the PS100 to the power ground on the datalogger. A 1-ft length of this wire is shipped with the PS100. The per foot price is listed.
 
The 9635 is the red wire used to connect the PS100 to the 12V power terminal on the datalogger. A 1-ft length of this wire is shipped with the PS100. The per foot price is listed.
 
The 17646 may be purchased to replace the detachable lid of the PS100.
