The "Typically Ships Within" value is an estimate of the number of calendar days within which this product is ready to ship from Campbell Scientific. Orders with more than 10 built-to-order products will likely increase the time needed to prepare the order for shipping.

To estimate how long it will take to receive an order that contains multiple products, combine the longest Ships Within value with the transit time of the shipping method you select.

Some specialized products have long Ships Within values. Because of this, you might consider submitting a separate order for these products so your other products won't be delayed.

Common Accessories

HMP155A-L

HMP155A-L Vaisala Temperature/RH Probe

One temperature/RH probe is needed per KH20. The HMP155A provides reliable relative humidity (RH) and temperature measurements for a wide range of applications. It uses a HUMICAP®180R capacitive thin film polymer sensor to measure RH over the 0 to 100% RH range. A PRT measures temperature over the -80° to +60°C range.
HMP155A-L Options - show details
-L ft cable per sensor

Allowed values: 0-1000 ft, increments of 1 ft

Campbell Scientific recommends:
  • 9 ft length—probe mounted to mast/leg at a 2 m height
  • 11 ft length—probe mounted to a CM202 at 2 m height
  • 14 ft length—probe mounted atop a CM106B, CM110, CM10, or UT10 via a CM202
  • 19 ft length—probe mounted atop a CM115 via a CM202
  • 24 ft length—probe mounted atop a UT20 via a CM202
  • 37 ft length—probe mounted atop a UT30 via a CM202
Add two feet to the cable length if you are mounting the enclosure on the leg base of a CM106B, CM110, CM115, or CM120 tripod.
Cable Termination Options - show details
-PT -PT w/Tinned Wires
With the -PT option, the cable terminates in pigtails that connect directly to the datalogger.
-PW -PW w/Pre-Wire Connector
With the -PW option, the cable terminates in a connector that attaches to a prewired enclosure.
RAD14

One radiation shield is needed for the HMP155A-L. The RAD14 is one option. The RAD14 uses a double-louvered design that offers improved sensor protection from driving rain, snow, and insect intrusion. It also has lower self-heating in bright sunlight combined with higher temperatures (> 24°C (~75°F)) and low wind speeds (< 2m/s (~4.5 mph)), providing a better measurement.
41005-5

One radiation shield is needed for the HMP155A-L. The 41005-5 is one option. Its louvered construction allows air to pass freely through the shield, thereby keeping the probe at or near ambient temperature. The 41005-5 is white, allowing it to reflect solar radiation. This shield includes the hex nut adapter for the HMP155A.

Other Accessories

KH20CBL-L KH20-L Replacement Signal /Power Cable

The KH20CBL-L may be ordered to replace the original cable or to specify a custom length for a non-standard installation.
Cable Length - show details
-L ft per sensor cable

Allowed values: 1-1000 ft, increments of 1 ft

A 25 foot lead length is standard.
-LP ft per power cable

Allowed values: 1-1000 ft, increments of 1 ft

A 25 foot lead length is standard.
18048

The 18048 is an aluminum, 3/4" IPS pipe that provides an attachment point for the KH20, The 18048 is 12 in. long and is inserted in a CM220 Mount or a 1049 Nu-Rail Fitting that is mounted on the end of a crossarm.

Replacement Parts

1017

The 1017 Nu-Rail® Crossover Fitting attaches a 0.75 in. IPS pipe to another 0.75 in. IPS pipe.

Services

Yearly recalibration of the KH20 is recommended. The KH20 is recalibrated against a cooled mirror/PRT. Calibration sheets and plots showing both "clean" and "scaled" regressions are provided. All factory recalibrations require an RMA (Returned Material Authorization).
