A charging source may be needed. The 29796 converts 100 to 240 Vac to a regulated 24 Vdc. The 29796 comes standard with a USA/Canada plug, with an option to add a kit for international use. The cable is 5 ft long and terminates in pigtails with "+" and "-" labels.

The SP10 is a 10-W photovoltaic power sources capable of recharging batteries. The SP10 has a sufficient charging source for many of our system configurations in tropical to temperate latitudes. It allows unattended operation of systems in remote locations, far from AC electrical sources.

With the -PW option, the cable terminates in a connector that attaches to a pre-wired enclosure.
-C -C w/ ET/CS110 Connector
With the -C option, the cable terminates in a connector that attaches to a CS110 Electric Field Meter or an ET-series weather station. This is equivalent to the -LC version available for some sensors.

-SM -SM Std Mounting Kit
Standard mounting to allow solar panel to be mounted directly to the leg of a tower or crossarm.
-EM -EM Extended Mounting Kit
Extended Mounting Kit allows the solar panel to be mounted on a tower or crossarm that puts the panel approximately 25.4 cm (10 in.) from the mast. This reduces shadows on the solar panel from other components or guy wires, which negatively affects the performance of the solar panel. It does, however, increase the wind load on the system.

The SP20 is a 20 W solar panel. It is often used for system configurations that have higher-than-average power requirements, or in higher elevation and latitude locations. It connects to Campbell Scientific power supplies and battery bases to recharge the battery, and it allows unattended operation of systems in remote locations that are far from ac electrical sources.

The 22110 is the prewired version of the 29796. This wall charger is used to charge the batteries in our prewired enclosures. On one end the 22110 has a plug that inserts into a wall socket, and on the other end it has a connector that attaches to the prewired enclosure. The 22110 outputs 24 Vdc at 1.67 A and accepts 100 to 240 Vac, 47 to 63 Hz.

An RJ45 cable may be needed, and several options are available. The CAT5UCBL-L is one option. This is an RJ45 cable that is ordered to a customer-defined length. We have created this so when people are connecting CDM devices together or to a data logger, they can have a custom-length cable if they do not want one of our set-length cables, which are 6 in., 2 ft, 10 ft, or 50 ft.

HUB-CPI
 
The HUB-CPI allows eight CPI (CAN peripheral interface) devices to be connected together in parallel. Typically, this configuration includes one data logger and up to seven CDMs (Campbell distributed modules) or sensors that use CPI.

One 29370 is needed for each CPI network. Among the items included in the 29370 kit is a roll of yellow vinyl electrical tape to distinguish Ethernet cables that use CPI protocol from similar cables used for TCP/IP.

The CR1000KD is a portable keyboard and display screen for our data loggers that have a CS I/O port. The SC110 consists of two cables to connect a data logger with RS-232 DCE and DTE devices. One end of each cable provides stripped, tinned leads for attachment to the control ports on a data logger. On the other end, one of the cables is fitted with a 9-pin male connector, and the other cable is fitted with a 9-pin female connector.

Services

Campbell Scientific offers NIST traceable calibration for this product, as well as full maintenance, repair, and temperature testing services.

 
The 30408 requires an RMA (Returned Material Authorization) from Campbell Scientific. When ordered, we recalibrate the Granite6 to meet original specifications. Recalibration includes standard temperature testing (-40° to +70°C). Before and after calibration sheets are supplied with the CR6.
 
The 34155 provides factory recalibration of the Granite6 to meet original specifications, then sends the recalibrated data logger to be validated by a certifying body that is A2LA accredited to the ISO 17025 standards. This service requires an RMA (Returned Material Authorization) from Campbell Scientific.
