27114 CSAT3A Replacement Sonic Head
 
The 27114 CSAT3A sonic anemometer head is similar to the sensor head from the CSAT3 sonic anemometer, but its cable is modified to connect to the EC100 electronics. It is used as part of the EC150 open-path analyzer and the CPEC200 closed-path eddy-covariance system.

The 16554 provides calibration over the CSAT3A's operating temperature range without using the coordinate measurement machine (CMM); the CMM is used on the CSAT3A at time of original purchase. During recalibration, Campbell Scientific determines if the geometry of the heads has changed since original manufacture. If so, the 16555 Calibration with a CMM is required. In all cases, factory recalibration requires an RMA (Returned Material Authorization).
 
The 16555 includes calibration over the CSAT3A's operating temperature range and coordinate measurement of transducer positions in space relative to the bubble mounting surface. A coordinate measurement machine (CMM) is used for this process. CMM measurement is performed on the CSAT3A at time of original purchase. This recalibration option (instead of the 16554) is required if the geometry of the heads has changed since original manufacture. In all cases, factory recalibration requires an RMA (Returned Material Authorization).
