Overview
The 03301, manufacted by R. M. Young, is the wind vane included with our Wind Sentry Sets (03002, 03001). Although some customers have valid applications that require monitoring wind speed only (without direction), monitoring wind direction only (without wind speed) provides little useful information. For this reason, the 03301 is available for two purposes:
- As a replacement vane for a Wind Sentry Set that requires replacement of the vane only
- As an "upgrade" for a customer that originally purchased only the anemometer and now wants to add the vane to make a complete Wind Sentry Set

Replacement Cable for Wind Sentry Vane
The 03301CBL consists of a 22 AWG cable with a Santoprene jacket and a connector for attachment to the vane. The 03301CBL can easily be replaced by the user.

03101 to 03001 Crossarm Conversion Kit
The 17962 Mounting Conversion Kit should be ordered when the 03301 will be mounted next to a previously purchased 03101 Anemometer (Wind Sentry Wind Speed Sensor). It consists of the crossarm and other hardware to mount both sensors to a common crossarm as if they had been purchased originally as a complete Wind Sentry Set.

Offset Pipe Mount for 03301 Wind Vane
The 4913 should be ordered when the 03301 will be deployed on its own mount, next to an anemometer that's already on its own mount. This pipe mount is also known as RM Young model number 03145.

Replacement Wind Speed Flange Bearing for 03001, 03002, 03101, 03301, or 05305 (two required)
These bearings can be replaced by the user. Two of the 6702 are required.

Replacement Potentiometer for 03001 or 03301 Vane
Replacement of the 6700 potentiometer is fairly difficult to do. It requires the potentiometer to be soldered into place and then calibrated. Returning the sensor to the factory is recommended (an RMA is required).
