Custom lead lengths are available for up to 1000 feet. Campbell Scientific recommends:
  • 14 ft—sensor mounted atop a CM106B, CM110, or UT10 via a CM202
  • 19 ft—sensor mounted atop a CM115 via a CM202
  • 24 ft—sensor mounted atop a UT20 via a CM202
  • 37 ft—sensor mounted atop a UT30 via a CM202
These lead lengths assume the sensor is mounted atop the tripod/tower via a CM202 crossarm.

-PW -PW w/Pre-Wire Connector
With the -PW option, the cable terminates in a connector that attaches to a prewired enclosure.
-CWS -CWS w/CWS900 Connector
With the -CWS option, the cable terminates in a connector that attaches to a CWS900-series interface. Connection to a CWS900-series interface allows this sensor to be used in a wireless sensor network.

The 17953 NU-RAIL® Crossover Fitting is used to mount this sensor to a crossarm or a user-supplied 1" IPS pipe. This usage is equivalent to the functionality provided by the CM220 Right Angle Mounting Bracket.

The CM220 is used to mount this sensor to a crossarm or a user-supplied 1" IPS pipe.
CM216
 
The CM216 Sensor Mount provides a connection point for this sensor to be attached to the top of a CM106B, CM110, CM115, or CM120 tripod.

Replacement Parts

13764
 
The 13764 reed switch is difficult to replace without shattering the reed switch in the installation process. Factory repair is recommended.
 
The 13765 wind vane tail can be replaced by the user.
15954
 
The 15954 potentiometer and mount assembly is difficult to replace. Factory replacement is recommended. The mount assembly is aligned with the potentiometer allowing a reference point on the potentiometer to be maintained during installation.
16895
 
The 16895 Calibration Screw holds the vane stationary during the calibration process.
3648
 
The 3648 bearing is difficult to replace without shattering the adjacent reed switch. Factory replacement is recommended. Two bearings are required.
 
034BCBL-L 034B-L or 034A-L Replacement Cable
 
The 034BCBL-L can be easily replaced by the user. It consists of a 24 AWG cable with a Santoprene® jacket. The cable has a small connector that attaches to the base of the sensor.

Previously ordered as the 13549, the 034A/CBL-L, or the 034B/CBL-L.
