The Raven100 was replaced with the RavenXTV on July 7, 2008; replacement parts remain available (see Ordering Info). The Raven100 was an Airlink CDMA modem configured for Verizon cellular networks. This full-duplex modem transmitted data to the local cellular tower using a CDMA network. The data was sent from the tower to the base station computer via the Internet. Communicating via Internet provided faster communication rates and eliminated dialing delays and long distance fees.
