COM210 has been replaced by another product and is no longer available. Some accessories, replacement parts, or services may still be available.
In December 2006, the COM210 was replaced with the COM220, which is smaller and provides more capabilities than the COM210. Replacement parts remain available (see Ordering Info tab). The COM210 modem enabled communications between a computer and a Campbell datalogger via a public switched telephone network. A Hayes-compatible modem was required at the base-station computer while a COM210 was connected to the datalogger at the field site. The COM210's wide operating temperature range and minimal power requirements made it ideal for use at remote sites.
