Overview
The TCR6 was an external thermocouple reference junction for the 21X or CR7 dataloggers. Up to six thermocouples could be connected to the TCR6. The reference temperature was measured by a Class A platinum resistance thermometer (PRT) conforming to the DIN 43760, 1980 standard. A benefit of using an external thermocouple reference junction was to reduce the cost of thermocouple wire for long lead lengths.
