PC9000 Patch 5.0

  1. CR9000X: Added support for the CR9000X to the Program Generator, communications, and the Editor.
  2. VIEW Added: This utility can be used to look at any data file collected from dataloggers and storage devices, regardless of the format (comma separated, table oriented ASCII, binary, or printable). Once a file is opened, data can be printed, graphed, or displayed in comma separated, tabular, or hexadecimal format. However, since View is primarily a file viewing utility, a file cannot be edited or saved using this program.
  3. Communications DLL: Updated PC9000's DLL to support faster communications using the CR9000X Ether Net port. Benchmarked 4 Megabits per second effective data collection.
  4. Modem Communications: Improved modem communications and added Terminal window to monitor modem status.
  5. Real Time Monitoring: Added several new Real Time windows. Did a complete face lift to the majority of the Real Time windows giving them a more professional look and adding functionality.
  6. Trend/Strip Chart: New Window. Provides the simultaneous display of up to 20 different fields in either a Trend Chart or a Strip Chart format. Each trace may display any of the available fields from any of the available tables. The user can toggle between maximum scope graph and normal graph size.
  7. Virtual Spatial Plot: New Window. The Spatial Plot window is provided to allow the display of values from multiple fields in a Spatial plot. This is useful for displaying data from various sensors in a histogram format. It can also be used to pick a selection of bins from a histogram or FFT to display. The user can toggle between maximum Plot size and normal Plot size.
  8. 3-D Histogram: New Window. Allows the display of histograms in a real-time 3D format. The 3rd dimension is based on the record number. You can set the number of histogram records that you wish to monitor in a single histogram graph using the # of Plots parameter. The user can toggle between maximum graph size and normal graph size. Use the scroll bars to rotate the graph about the different axes.
  9. 3-D Fast Fourier Transform: New Window. Allows the display of FFTs in a real-time 3D format (Waterfall Plot). The user can toggle between maximum graph size and normal graph size. Use the scroll bars to rotate the graph about the different axes.
  10. Virtual Oscilloscope: New Features. Allows the display of up to 20 different traces on a single scope. Each trace may display any of the available fields from any of the available tables. The user can toggle between maximum scope size and normal scope size. User can zoom in on any area of the trace. The scope has flexible scan rates and Y axis scaling.
  11. Virtual X_Y Plotter: New Features. Allows the plotting of 20 different fields against one field from the same table in an X-Y configuration. The user can toggle between maximum Plot size and normal Plot size.
  12. LEVEL CROSSING HISTOGRAM: New Features. The user can now toggle between maximum graph size and normal graph size and can use the scroll bars to rotate the graph about the different axes for different viewing perspectives. Added graph options. RAINFLOW HISTOGRAM: New Features. The real-time RainFlow Histogram viewer allows the observation of RainFlow histograms in real-time. The user now can toggle between maximum graph size and normal graph size and can use the scroll bars to rotate the graph about the different axes. Added graph options.
  13. REAL-TIME 2D FAST FOURIER TRANSFORM: New Features. The real- time FFT viewer allows the observation of FFTs in near real-time. The user can now toggle between maximum graph size and normal graph size and can use the scroll bars to rotate the graph about the different axes for different viewing perspectives. Added graph options.
  14. CR9000X: Added Support in the program generator for the CR9000X (CR9032 CPU).
  15. CR9051E: Added support in the program generator for the CR9051E Fault tolerant analog input module.
  16. CR9071E: Added support in the program generator for the CR9071E Pulse input module.
  17. CANBus Measurement Setup: Added support in the program generators for 11 bit identifiers (CAN 1939 2.0A Protocol). Support for 29 bit identifiers (CAN 1939 2.0B protocol) is still there. Capability of returning several values from one Data Frame was added. Ability to create, and easily maintain, a library of lists, each list having unique CANBus items for specific vehicle models or tests.
  18. CRBASIC EDITOR : Incorporates the latest version of the CRBasic editor with support for the CR9000X, the CR9058E Isolation Module, and the CR9071E Pulse Input Module as well as the new instruction parameters for the CR9052DC.
