This multiplexer was replaced by the AM416 in 1989. The 3280 was the same multiplexer as the AM32, except it did not include an aluminum cover plate. The aluminum cover plate was used with thermocouples.

A series of data logger instructions control the multiplexer's operation (measurement instructions that are repetitive are generally contained within a programming loop; in CRBasic data loggers, this functionality is available in the SubScan instruction).
SCWIN software (available free of charge from our Web site) supports simple programming and generates wiring diagrams for AM416 applications.
