The 14185 was retired beginning October 2007. It was intended for ET106 stations that resided in Australia. The 14185 supported communications over the public switched telephone network. The kit included a COM210A telephone modem, a 20 ft cable allowing attachment to the enclosure, burial splice kit for attachment to a phone line, and a patch cord to connect the COM210A to the RJ11C telephone jack. Surge protection was built into the ET106 board. A Hayes-compatible modem was required at the computer site. Communication rates were supported at 300, 1200, or 9600 bps. Standard operating range is -30° to +50°C.
