Overview
The 14184 Telephone Modem kit is retired. It was intended for ET106 stations that resided in Europe. The kit enabled communication between the ET106 and a computer equipped with a Hayes-compatible modem over a public switched telephone network. Supported communication rates were 300, 1200, or 9600 bps. The kit included a COM210E telephone modem, a 20 ft cable allowing attachment to the enclosure, burial splice kit for attachment to a phone line, and a patch cord to connect the COM210E to the RJ11C telephone jack. Surge protection was built into the ET106 board. Standard operating range was -30° to +50°C.
