The 10704 was retired in January 2008. This modem power adapter was required to connect some of our phone modems (see compatibility) to some of our older data loggers—specifically the CR500 s/n 1764 or lower, and the silver or 8032 black CR10 wiring panels. The 10704 applied a constant 12 V to the modem's serial I/O port.
