The LI2003S Pyranometer Leveling Base is required to attach this sensor to our CM225 Solar Sensor Mount. The LI2003S levels the sensor in the horizontal plane, helping to ensure accurate solar radiation measurements.

The CM225 is used to attach the LI2003S leveling base to a crossarm, mast, or pole (1.0" to 2.1" OD).

Services

 
This service requires an RMA (Return Material Authorization) from Campbell Scientific. The sensor is function tested and inspected for damage at Campbell Scientific, Inc. (CSI). Then it is sent to Apogee Instruments for calibration, where it is compared against references traceable to the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) in Golden, Colorado. The sensor is then returned to CSI so the shunt resistor in the cable’s millivolt adapter can be adjusted to meet specified sensitivity. A calibration certificate is provided, which shows “as received” and “as returned” measurements.

The 33476 recalibration service is performed using a reference group of pyranometers traceable to World Radiometric Reference (WRR). This recalibration is ISO 17025 accredited to ASTM E824 standard.
