Allowed values: 0-1000 ft, increments of 1 ft

Custom lead lengths are available for up to 1000 feet. Campbell Scientific recommends:
  • 14 ft—sensor mounted atop a CM106B, CM110, or UT10 via a CM202
  • 19 ft—sensor mounted atop a CM115 via a CM202
  • 24 ft—sensor mounted atop a UT20 via a CM202
  • 37 ft—sensor mounted atop a UT30 via a CM202
These lead lengths assume the sensor is mounted atop the tripod/tower via a CM202 crossarm.
Cable Termination Options - show details
-PT -PT w/Tinned Wires
With the -PT option, the cable terminates in pigtails that connect directly to the datalogger.
-PW -PW w/Pre-Wire Connector
With the -PW option, the cable terminates in a connector that attaches to a pre-wired enclosure.

This NU-RAIL® Slip-on Offset Crossover fitting can be used as an alternative to the CM220. It attaches the sensor to a CM200-series crossarm.

024ACBL-L 024A-L Replacement Cable
 
The 024ACBL-L cable consists of 22 awg conductors insulated in polypropylene and shielded in a 2-twisted pair configuration; the cable jacket is composed of Santoprene®. The 024ACBL has a 6-pin, mil-spec connector and user-specified cable length. A 1K 0.01% completion resistor is included in the pigtail.

The 16901 turret label is easily replaced by the customer. This label serves to repel water and is placed over the small access hole in the turret to reduce ingress by water.
 
The 2905 10K potentiometer is difficult to replace, and requires recalibration after replacement. Factory replacement is recommended (bearings are also replaced).
