Overview

The LS6171 interrogates and resets the 21X's 16-bit pulse counters 80 times a second instead of the standard 8 times a second. This PROM requires that all analog measurements be made using fast integration (eliminates 2.72 ms integration, which is useful in ac rejection). The LS6171 should be used with the OSX-1.1 PROM. See the LS8077 for similar functionality with the OSX-0.1 PROM.

Detailed Description

The LS6171 interrogates and resets the 21X's 16-bit pulse counters 80 times a second instead of the standard 8 times a second.

The LS6171 can be installed by the customer or at our factory; if factory-installed, an RMA (Return Material Authorization) is required. List price is for the PROM only. Please note that several units may be sent in on one RMA number. An additional service charge (one hour minimum) will be applied to each RMA.

Campbell Scientific strongly recommends that units sent to the factory go through a standard checkout. In most cases, Data Logger Recalibration and Extended Temperature Testing should also be considered.

Compatibility

The LS6171 is for the 21X and 21XL Microloggers. This PROM requires that all analog measurements be made using fast integration (eliminates 2.72 ms integration which is useful in ac rejection).
