Overview
For this version of the CS700 HS Hyquest Solutions Rain Gage, the cable terminates in a connector rather than the standard pigtails. The connector can be attached to the MetData1 Weather Station or CS110 Electric Field Meter. The CS700-LC has an 8" orifice and measures rainfall in 0.01" increments. It contains an internal siphon mechanism that causes rain to flow at a steady rate to the tipping bucket mechanism (regardless of intensity). The siphon allows the sensor to make accurate measurements over a range of 0" to 27.6" per hour (70 cm per hour).
