Overview

The ATP100 expands the power and communications capabilities of a TurfWeather (TW) style station. The ATP100 kit includes a 10-inch-by-12-inch enclosure that houses a 7 Ah rechargeable battery and an NL240 Wi-Fi interface. Several enclosure mount and antenna options are offered. The kit may also be purchased without the NL240 for applications that require a non-standard communication option.

Benefits and Features

  • 7 Ah backup battery with more energy charge compared to the 0.8 Ah battery that comes standard with the TurfWeather station
  • Can be ordered with Wi-Fi communication to interface to an existing Wi-Fi network
  • Ad-hoc Wi-Fi for secure point-to-point 2.4 GHz wireless communication
  • Can be ordered without a communication option to allow for custom communication devices, such as a spread-spectrum radio or digital cell phone
  • Enclosure rated to NEMA 4X (IP66)

Compatibility

Weather Station Considerations

The ATP100 is compatible with the following weather stations:

Mounting Considerations

The ATP100 comes in a package designed for field deployment. The mast mounting kit is used to facilitate installation on a pole.

Power Considerations

To use the ATP100, the TurfWeather station must have its internal wiring modified and the internal battery removed. If the ATP100 is ordered separately from the TurfWeather weather station, see the weather station manual for installation instructions.
