Overview
The 6590 transient suppressor was used with the Tektronix 1502-series cable tester. It was built into the ENCTDR and was strongly recommended where the ENCTDR was not used. The 6590 suppressed electrical transients being carried along the coaxial cable, thereby helping to protect the input stage of the cable tester.Images
