Overview
The CS659 is a water content probe used in the Hydrosense II system (not for use with data loggers). (The CS659 is designed for use with the HS2 but not with the HS2P.) This probe has 12 cm rods; another probe, the CS658, has 20 cm rods. When ordered with the HS2 Hydrosense II Display, the CS659 is option -12. It is also available as a replacement part.
Technical Description
The CS659 soil moisture probe has been designed to aid insertion into and removal from hard soils. The probe rods use ferrule nuts to secure the rods to the probe housing. A molded plastic grip connects the probe's cable to its housing.
