Campbell Scientific recommends:
  • 9 ft length—probe mounted to mast/leg at a 2 m height
  • 11 ft length—probe mounted to a CM202 at 2 m height
  • 14 ft length—probe mounted atop a CM106B, CM110, CM10, or UT10 via a CM202
  • 19 ft length—probe mounted atop a CM115 via a CM202
  • 24 ft length—probe mounted atop a UT20 via a CM202
  • 37 ft length—probe mounted atop a UT30 via a CM202
Add two feet to the cable length if you are mounting the enclosure on the leg base of a CM106B, CM110, CM115, or CM120 tripod.

One RAD10E is needed per EE181-L. The RAD10E is attached to a Campbell Scientific crossarm or mast. The RAD10E uses a double-louvered design that offers improved sensor protection from driving rain, snow, and insect intrusion.

The 28415 is the fitting used to mount an EE181-L in a 41003-5 Solar Radiation Shield.
41003-5
 
The 41003-5 is a naturally aspirated 10-plate radiation shield. Its louvered construction allows air to pass freely through the shield, keeping the probe at or near ambient temperature.

EE181CBL-L EE181 Replacement Cable
 
The EE181CBL1-L is a replacement cable for the EE181 Temperature and Relative Humidity Probe. One end of the cable is fitted with a connector for sensor attachment. The connector has a 316L marine-grade stainless-steel knurl to resist corrosion in coastal and other harsh environments. The other end of the cable either terminates in stripped and tinned leads or is fitted with a connector for our prewired enclosures.

The 32587 is a replacement screen mesh cap for the EE181 Temperature and Relative Humidity Probe. The stainless-steel wire-mesh material has a pore size of 30μm, allowing condensation to quickly disperse while protecting the sensing elements from common pollutants, dust, and debris. Caps should be replaced when they become dirty or when the sensing elements are cleaned.

Order the 27727 to have Campbell Scientific recalibrate a temperature and RH probe. The accuracy of the recalibration is ± 2% from 10 to 90% RH and ± 3% from 90 to 100% RH. Campbell Scientific supplies before and after calibration sheets.
