The file is remote/inaccessible or does not exist.

Hi all, I am currently facing a problem.

The datalogger that I am maintaining has stopped collecting data after the program is restarted.

I have tried to re-power it up and collect the data inside the datalogger using "collection" function.

It appears that some data is able to be export into xxx.dat.

but some are not, giving the error "The file is remote/inaccessible or does not exists."

May I know what will be the possible reasons for the error message?

Thank you.

The most common reason people see this message is the table on the datalogger didn't have any data yet to collect. For example, when you put a monthly table in a program and send it to the datalogger, that message appears for the data file until you reach the end of the month.

The other reason for seeing the message is Windows has locked out write access to the file. Verify that you have write permissions to the destination folder and that no other program has the file open(most common).
