What is the best way to exchange data between CR1000x dataloggers via IP on wired network?

I wish to exchange a few data variables, e.g. temperature, humidity, pressure and winds, from one CR1000X to another via a local 192.168.x.y wired network by the simplest method.  To that end, I have been reviewing the various CRBASIC commands for internet communication such as FTPClient and UDPDataGram.  The remarks in the CRBASIC help note doing this but the examples don't show logger to logger exchange.  I have looked in the training section and not found this.  I would appreciate it if someone would point me to a document(s) with more in-depth examples of doing this.

In one of the data loggers, add the IP address of the other data logger in the Pakbus/TCP Clients setting. It is on the Network Services tab in Device Configuration Utility.

Once there is a connection between the two data loggers, you can use instructions from the Pakbus category in CRBasic. GetVariables() sounds like the one you need.
