Device Config doesn't communicate with SoilVue 10

Using the terminal tab in Device Config to communicate with the SoilVue, I get the message "No answer from sensor."

I am attempting to communicate with port C1.  I am just trying to find the SDI-12 address of this SoilVue, but having trouble.

Cable damage from rodents or farm implements can mean having to dig up sensors and disturb the site. The cable on the SoilVue 10 is removable and can be replaced without moving the instrument.
