Using COM232 as sensor input

fabiograsso81 Oct 5, 2022 01:08 PM

Hi,

  I've a CR1000 and I've typed 'SerialOpen('  pointing 'COM232'  (because I haven't a level translator to use COMx input);

from that my logger is unavailable and I can't plug by loggernet: have I broke my CR1000 ?

Could I reset the device ?

You can always wipe the logger clean by using the Send OS tab in Device Configuration Utility.

Opening up a C comport pair often works for connecting a computer. Just use the Comport setting in the datalogger after you get the logger back to defaults.
