USB to RS232 adapter to connect CR1000?

Will a USB to RS232 adapter work to connect a CR1000 to a laptop running Windows 10 and LoggerNet 4.7?

Of course. I've used a few types. It depends on the correct drivers for win10. I understand that loggernet checks for presence and uses the installed serial port.

Thanks for your reply. I found that when a standard serial to USB cable was installed, the setup wizard in LoggerNet had no CR1000 drivers to offer. Instead, I ended up downloading the driver for my old SC-USB cable and that seems to have done the trick.

Instead, I was able to get everything working again after tracking out the corresponding driver for my antiquated SC-USB cable and installing it. moto x3m
