Hi. Is there a way to save an imported CSV file as a DAT file so that it can be opened directly in ViewPro rather than going through "Import CSV" to get it into 'proper' format. I have renamed a file to give it the .dat extension but it will only open in an unformatted 'text' view if opened directly. This is a file that was originally a .dat file - opened in Excel to edit some headers etc - then saved as csv and renamed to.dat extension. Thanks for reading.

Both .dat & .csv are text files.
They can be edited/viewed using a text editor.
Try to send first few lines here to compare .dat file before and after Excel processing.
