Loggers CR800/1000 after power break/disconnection don't save data and program

JuAn Apr 28, 2020 08:13 AM

For both types of loggers CR800 and CR1000 the same issue - after even short disconnection of feeding power or power break datas are note saved and programe not saved too. I have changed internal battery for both loggers and issue remains the same. For connection to loggers PC200W used. Pls advice what could be solution to solve this case.

Is the real time clock resetting with a power cycle? What is the data logger showing the internal lithium battery voltage to be?

When you send a program to the logger are the boxes run & run on power up checked?

It is possible to send a program from CRBasic and the file control so that it is configured to run as the current program but will not run as the program on power-up.  There are some applications where this is a feature.  I suspect that the program that you want to keep running in your dataloggers is not marked as the program to run on power up.  You can verify this in the file control panel in DevConfig.  I can't remember if PC200W has the same type of panel.

Is the real time clock resetting with a power cycle? - usually yes, as I remember.

What is the data logger showing the internal lithium battery voltage to be? - 3,84 V, once I copied this value when saw error.

When you send a program to the logger are the boxes run & run on power up checked? - not sure where to find those boxes in PC200W, I will check and come back.
