Issue in upgrading CRBasic to version 3.8

hal9000 Mar 5, 2020 10:55 AM

Hi everybody

I am not capable to upgrade CRBasic Editor version 3.7 to 3.8.

When I run the setup program the following error message is displayed:

The setup has detected that no version of CRBasic Editor is installed.

CRBasic ver. 3.7 (build 3.7.0.11) is installed in the folder C:\Program Files (x86)\Campbellsci\CRBasicEditor

Computer OS is Windows 10 Pro 64 bit, ver 1909, build 18363.693

Any idea

 Thanks for your attention

Alessandro

Was your version of CRBasic installed as part of LoggerNet or is it a stand-alone installation?

It is installed as part of loggerNet 4.5 (Build 4.5.0.1)

Because the CRBasic editor was installed as part of LoggerNet and is not the stand-alone version, the only way to update your version fo the CRBasic editor is to use the LoggerNet patch. This patch should be available in the next day or two.

Thank you for your answer.

I have downloaded the LoggerNet patch, and installed it with success
