Can the CELL215 be directly connected (by CS I/O) to the CCFC Camera? And can this setup work for sending in pictures via pakbus or ftp?
Sorry. The CCFC is not compatible with the external cellular modems.
If you use an RV50 or RV50X modem instead of the CELL215, you can connect the CCFC direct to that using an Ethernet RJ45 cable and have pictures sent by FTP. The CCFC can also control the RV50 power using its sense line, so it only turns the modem on prior to sending the picture or pictures. Then turns it off, conserving power at the site.
