Hello

what is the max long distance of RS232 transmission that i can use without convertor between a CR200 and PC in 9600 baud rate and in 2400 baud rate

I wanted to say, what is the maximum length of a USB / RS232 cable with which i can use without any convertor or amplifier to connect a CR200 to PC in 9600 baud rate and in 2400 baud rate

It should be able to go at least 50ft on the RS232 side. USB is rated at 5 meters. No guarantees beyond that.

When you run a long cable from a PC, it is a good idea to have an electrical isolator anyway.
