What is 'bridge mode'?

Italo Nov 27, 2017 11:31 AM

The NL201 description says "The CR300-series dataloggers are not compatible with the bridge mode functionality in the NL201 interface".

What this mean? Will it be possible to use functions to send email, upload file to a FTP server, etc when using it hooked-up to a CR300?

The NL201 will not enable email or FTP functionality in a CR300.

Bridge mode allows a CR800, CR1000, or CR3000 to manage the IP connections of a NL201. It only works over a CSIO connection. The CR300 lacks a CSIO port.

If you need ethernet on a CR300, you should purchase a CR310.
