OrderableHydroSense II Water Content Sensor with 20 cm Rods
Overview
The CS658 is a water content probe used in the Hydrosense II system (not for use with data loggers). This probe has 20 cm rods; another probe, the CS659, has 12 cm rods. When ordered with the HS2 Hydrosense II Display, the CS658 is option -20. It is also available as a replacement part.
Note: The CS658 is designed for use with the HS2 but not with the HS2P.
Technical Description
The CS658 soil moisture probe has been designed to aid insertion into and removal from hard soils. The probe rods use ferrule nuts to secure the rods to the probe housing. A molded plastic grip connects the probe's cable to its housing.
