Overview
The 260-953, manufactured by Novalynx, is a wind screen mounted around a rain or snow gage. It consists of 32 leaves that hang freely and swing as the wind moves past them. The 260-953 helps minimize the effect of wind on the rain or snow measurements.

Detailed Description
The 260-953's leaves are evenly spaced on a 48-in.-diameter ring.
The ring is comprised of four quadrants. Each quadrant mounts onto posts made of galvanized-steel pipe.
