Surface Temperature Sensors
Measuring temperature of structures and plant canopies

About Surface Temperature Sensors
Campbell Scientific offers two different technologies to measure surface temperature. Surface contact sensors, such as back-of-module sensors, attach directly to a surface and measure the temperature via physical contact. Infrared temperature sensors are a non-contact means of measuring the surface temperature of an object or surface by sensing the infrared radiation given off by the subject.
